"The Hanover Dragoons
Camp #827, SCV"
June 2005 Meeting

Compatriots & Prospective Members,

We had a great attendance at our June Camp meeting! Great show of faces by our Camp Compatriots & guests before we went on our summer break!

Our guest speaker was Ms. Virginia Martin, noted historian and author of "Marching Through Culpeper". This was a most informative & interesting discussion! Hope everyone took advantage of the opportunity to pick up a copy of her book!

The Hanover Dragoons Camp had a booth again this year at Hanover Heritage Days on Saturday, May 28th. Our sincere thanks to all who came out & participated!

Our next Camp will be Wednesday, September 21st at Slash Church. More information on guest speaker will be posted on the Camp News link. Social time begins at 6pm, followed by dinner ($11 per person) then guest speaker & Camp business. Be sure to bring a friend, relative or any interested person with you!

We are continuing to steadily grow with members both young and young at heart.
Come out and enjoy the fellowship of fellow Compatriots, get some Confederate education and enjoy some great food.

Confederately,
Robert T. Millikin, III
Commander
The Hanover Dragoons Camp #827
