Our May meeting was held on the 21st in the Fellowship Hall of historical Slash Christian Church located at 11353 Mount Hermon Road,Ashland, VA. Our Guest speaker was historian/genealogist, Mr. Kevin Lett, whose topic was "Women - the Forgotten Confederate Veterans".
We very much enjoyed hearing Mr. Lett's discussion on the brave women (wives, mothers, daughters) of our Confederate Veterans and the struggles they went through during the

If you were unable to attend the meeting and would like to be involved with the Committee, please email the Camp at the email address provided below. Our Camp is still actively working on several other projects such as headstone dedications, fund-raising efforts, Camp flag/logo, other monument clean-ups, etc. We may be a smaller Camp, but we are huge when it comes to activity and pride in our Confederate history. During our May meeting, Compatriot Jim Chisholm, Jr. was officially inducted.
