Compatriots & Prospective Members, What a great meeting we had on October 20th! Our guest speaker was Mr. Gary Walker, noted author and fellow SCV member. His informative and entertaining discussion was on his latest book "A General History of the Civil War, the Southern Point of View".

During our October meeting we inducted our three newest members! We welcome Robert Jordan, Joe Seay and Ben Tyler as our newest members. We warmly welcome each of you and The Hanover Dragoons Camp #827 is both honored and happy to have you!

Our next meeting will be Wed., November 17th and our guest speaker will be U.S./World History Teacher, Thomas Hobbs, whose topic will be "Archeological Excavations on a Colonial Homesite in Broaddus Flats, near Old Church". "Coach" Hobbs has been teaching in Hanover County high schools for twenty-two years and is a most informative source. Please come out and bring a friend, co-worker, family member or prospective member with you. We are continuing to steadily grow with members both young and young at heart. I look forward to seeing each of you on November 17th!
