"The Hanover Dragoons
Camp #827, SCV"

Camp Projects

The Hanover Dragoons Camp #827 is proud to have taken on several projects. Since 2002 when we chartered this Camp, we have worked on numerous headstone dedications and have more in the works, sucessfully created our own Camp flag, participated in numerous events such as Hanover Heritage Days, Field Days of the Past and the Hanover Tomato Festival. We have been gifted with the great honor of the the maintenance of the J.E.B. Stuart monument (Yellow Tavern), located in Glen Allen, VA as well as the maintenance of the historic Hanover Tavern, located on Hanover Courthouse Road (directly across from the Confederate Monument. Executive Director, David Deal, of the Hanovern Tavern, has made it VERY clear how proud they are of us! KUDOS!

"The Memorial Roll Call" is one way you can assist our Camp. For $10, you and your ancestor are listed in one annual newsletter. This help with the cost of the postage to mail the newsletters out to everyone and provides each Compatriots the opportunity to pay respect to their ancestor.

Our Camp is staying very busy and we look forward to continuing to do so.
