Our Camp Flag Project - A Success!

The Hanover Dragoons Camp #827 has been raising funds for our Camp Flag fund so we can have our own specially-designed Camp flag made as well as purchase other flags for our Camp meetings. Past Quartermaster Jason Talley and Adj/Trsr Mike Tyler worked tirelessly on the design and the final artwork is truly incredible. We are quite anxious to get our funds raised so our camp flag can be made and proudly raised and displayed at all of our upcoming Camp meetings, functions and activities. This fund will be used for the purchase of flags, flagpoles, stands, tops, etc.

If you would like to make a donation to The Hanover Dragoons Camp #827 Flag Fund,
please contact Adj/Trsr Mike Tyler for more information.

During our January, 2004 meeting, we were extremely pleased to announce that our fund-raising efforts have been successful and our Camp flag has now been ordered. We would like to thank the following for their contributions/donations to our Camp for our Camp flag:
all of our Camp Compatriots and their family members, Past MOS&B Virginia Division Commander Jack Stinson, Compatriot John Henry Taylor, the General James Longstreet Camp #1247, and last but not least, our extremely generous anonymous contributor.

We are also extremely pleased to announce that Compatriot Sid VanGilder has donated several flags to our Camp! What a huge contribution! We are VERY thankful for this donation!

*UPDATE*
During our February Camp meeting our Camp flag was unveiled for the first time. We must thank Jim Timberlake and his staff for their beautiful handiwork in making our Camp flag truly come to life! Thank you again to all those who have contributed to our Camp flag fund. The Hanover Dragoons Camp #827 is extremely proud of our first major Camp project - our own Camp flag!

Thanks for your interest in
The Hanover Dragoons Camp #827!
